Higon's right. The only sales figures for the 360 are estimates from various places that aren't Microsoft. Makes you wonder if Microsoft is too chicken to let some light shine on their actual figures.
Chilly Hollow

DoA4 is a HIT I can say since roughly 75% of Xbox360 owners have bought it already!!

Sad thing is that, 60,000 DoA4 have sold to major part of 80,000 Xbox360 owners. So there was no way DOA4 to have sold more than 100,000 total. Meanwhile, 410,000 Brain Training brabra have sold last week alone, duh.

Why doesn't United States have any sales figure of Xbox360 yet? I'm beginning to see MS really suspicious.
higon

don't see what the big suprise is. If the consoles havent sold out how can you expect DOA4 to reach the top 10.
Zoglog

I'm not surprised, actually.

I just spent this past Saturday night playing DOA4 but was a little disappointed. The controls are a little tighter (a good thing), but the game didn't offer very much more than the previous games. From what I experienced, it seemed like the environments were much less expansive than Hardcore and 3. They also didn't seem to work out the menu systems as well as they should have. Playing with two players is fine, but playing VS. mode with more than two means that you have to back out two or three menus, switch profiles, then go back into the character select. There are many instances like this scattered throughout the game; this is just one of the annoyances I found.

Don't get me wrong, I consider myself a huge fan of the series, ever since DOA 2 for the DC. I just wished that after so many sequels, they would've perfected all these little details by now. For what the game is, it's still a lot fun, though!
macdeth

I do agree with this, but Sony seems to have pretty strong console launches in Japan with relatively weak gaming line-ups.
ZildjianKX
