"@Pay_Me_Or_Pay_Me_No_Attention: I really enjoy playing on the ion, but currently you can't play GHWT with it because it has auto recognition that puts it at 5 pads + kick pedal, but registers the cymbals as two colors together. Unless Neversoft patches this or adds a mode that allows you chose the four pad set up, it's unplayable."

"so @zluzlutt: Yeah, it automatically toggles to a four pad + kick pedal map. There are the same amount of hits in the parts, they're just mapped slightly differently."

"After playing GHWT with the Rock Band 2 kit and Rock Band 2 with the GHWT kit, if you can only have one, the RB2 kit feels more natural thanks to Neversoft making a 4 pad + pedal map. The pads definitely feel like they are higher quality on the GHWT kit and are much quieter than the RB2 kit, though. I will be getting the cymbal add on for my RB2 kit."
