"Just one more time, I'm going to try to correct some misapprehensions about Kotaku's really poorly researched XNA articles.
XNA was announced almost two years ago on various Microsoft developer sites, not at GDC like the article claims - I've been playing with it since late 2006, though I'm only giving it a really serious dev effort this year.
And some XNA games are WAY beyond so-called Flash level:
