"Well the quality of the port depends on how well source has been tweaked for the Xbox 360 since the Orange Box, which was just about playable on the Xbox all in all it was a poor port given the levels of graphics in those games. If the Xbox 360 version of Left4Dead is getting a good treatment and not just a crappy PC port like the Orange Box then a PS3 version will benefit from that. However I haven't seen or read about Valve showing off the Xbox 360 version of Left4Dead so it doesn't fill me with confidence."

"Well Todd pretty much hit the nail on the head, agree 100%. Blizzard/Valve earn their money by being the PC fanboys darling but the market can only afford a small number of those, if things were take a turn for the worse economics wise for either company they would be singing a different tune when it comes to multi-platform games."

"Some companies cannot afford to always follow that mantra, Blizzard has a golden goose in the form of WoW that allows them to operate like that & Autumn Moon are a tiny outfit who just expanded to 11 people. Anyway it's great to hear that the game is nearly finished and a sequel is already in the works, this is good news for adventure games fans as only the (now ex) Lucasarts crew ever knew how to do it properly.
