Famitsu Uses Hard Gay for Children's Mag

When yer first learning Japanese, Famitsu Cube is a great study guide. Not only can you can get the inside track on Nintendo, but also the vocab isn't too difficult, and all the Chinese kanji has "furigana" pronunciation characters. Why? The magazine is intended for children that haven't yet finished junior high school (and thus learned kanji).

For their Nintendo kiddy mag, the venerated Famitsu has created its own version of the Hard Gay comic, Razor Ramon. Called Razor Mizupin HG and played by an editor, the character is giving away Nintendo Dual Screens, Micros and Gundam software. Children fill out postcards with their addresses and send them to HG ("Hard Game?") Razor.

This sounds less like a contest and more like a pedophile's M.O. My mom told me not to take candy from strangers — let alone tell men in leather shorts and biker hats my address.
