    Fake Girl-Gamer Sites

    Someone out there has registered a slew of girls&games related domains: pcgamergirl.com, xboxgirl.com, consolegirl.com, etc - under which they're republishing Weblogs.inc & Gawker's feeds (Joystiq, Gizmodo), straight from the RSS!

    These sites are a nasty, cheap fakes designed expressly to get people to click on the Depression and Insurance links at the bottom of the page. Elaborate spam, masquerading as girlgamer (and gadget) sites.

    We've not made any of these links live so as not to give these sites googlejuice. If you have any of these in your RSS readers, you know what to do...

    Disgusting. And a real shame, there are some decent domain names in there, too.
