For the gamer on your holiday shopping list who has everything—excluding a healthy social life—the DreamArcades 100-inch video arcade center might be the final thing he or she needs. Okay, "he". No woman wants this garish monstrosity in their home.
Featuring a wireless audio and video connection, a DLP projector, a PC with an AMD Athlon 64 3200+ CPU with emulation software pre-installed, and a few dozen arcade titles from Namco, Capcom, Atari, Midway and others, this beast will set you back $4500 (plus shipping). It also features almost every control scheme your little noodle can think of, including a light gun.
I'm ordering now and expensing this bad boy. If I get it approved, 100-inch Home Video Arcade Centers for every reader!

I'll take two, and Paris probably has 3 of them.

No they are right, you stand on the "left side of it" in that pic.

Come on, you know Paris has far more than 3 VDs.
How does the light gun work with a DLP projector?
This makes my heart hurt. I would much rather has my cabs as original as possible to preserve them exactly as they were. There's nothing retro or classic about this.
PD4Ever, I am fairly certain that light guns do not work at all with DLP
you can get specialised ones (the light guns) that have the sensor bar like the wiimote.
look up a retro parts seller and your bound to find one.
Forgive me if I'm dumb, but how exactly will that setup play Dragon's Lair? I thought you needed the laser disc.
Although I bet it's on DVD by now and in that case, never mind.
This gives me a 100 inch boner.

They also ripped the arcade roms from dragons lair and copied/compressed the laser disk to a smaller version. You can use dapne on a PC or there is an Xbox emu version for those with modded systems. You can play a ton of laserdisk games that way.
Looking at the Laserdisc artifacts on a 100 inch screen is going to be like watching an asteroid field, with pixels as big as your eyes. Better off getting a proper cab basically.
Does Peter Moore really have the world high score in Burger Time?
