    Homebrew fans rejoice! The PSP hacking scene has released a firmware downgrader, one that will make your 2.60 or 2.50 PSP a homebrew friendly 1.5. Word of warning though, if you are the owner of a particular model PSP, or can't follow written instructions, your PSP could become a brick. Use this with caution.

    The PSP homebrew scene is very strong, with some solid emulators already in the wild, with the promise of more and better software coming at a steady rate. Risk takers with an interest in playing SNES games on their PSP should take note of this very important release. Michael McWhertor
