Korean PSP Gets Web Browsing Next Week

South Korea is one of those countries that made the list of red-headed stepchildren for Sony, with the company pulling all of their shipments there to help cover the demand in the U.S. To help make up for this, when South Koreans get their PSPs on May 2 they will be able to surf the Internet with them. The country's largest Internet operator is teaming up with Sony to make sure that users will be able to surf the net from wireless access points and view unique content geared toward the device. Here's a break down of the goodies included with their PSP:

NESPOT Internet Service Network Utility Disc UMD, which will provide TV programs and such via Video on Demand and Music on Demand through Korea Telecommunications.

A Network Utility Disc, which will include a web browser, video player and music player.

No word on whether the other countries screwed over for U.S. demand will get bonus features, or when Sony-backed PSP browsing will be hitting the states and all points abroad.
