Sony is getting annoyed with the hackers who keep giving its PSP more utility than they did when they designed it. Earlier this week a working downgrade to the PSP firmware was released. Sony is back at work on another firmware upgrade to counter this most recent "hack." Why didn't Sony just give the PSP this utility from the beginning? Hackability worked wonders for the Xbox.
