See anything wrong with this chart? Microsoft sure as hell does: the Martian Moon man logic that leads the Sony fact sheet to definitively state that the 360 is more expensive than a PlayStation 3, as opposed to significantly less expensive. And that Martian Moon Man logic? Totally fueled by downright lies.
Needless to say, you are not required to buy a HD DVD drive to use a 360. And while a 20GB hard drive certainly is the more optimal 360 experience, you fucking sure as hell don't need to buy that either. And since when are you required to buy a 12-month Xbox Live Gold Subscription? It stinks.
Microsoft is already darkly grumbling: Engadget claims that Microsoft is preparing legal action, because it could be misleading to retail employees trying to sell consoles this Christmas.
Boo, Sony. Boo. This isn't sheer ignorance. This is a calculated attempt to prove through lies that the 360 is more expensive than the PS3.
