Credible industry website 'Next-Generation' is posting first news of Sony's supposed competitor to Xbox Live, as well as some newly informed speculation on PS3's launch date.
Taking an obvious cue from Microsoft's established (and very successful) Live service, Sony's version will be called 'PlayStation HUB', apparently allowing PS3 players to chat, downloade demos, play independent games and of course game online. Next-Gen's sources say the service will be officially announced in the coming weeks.
The website goes on speculate that September 16th will be the PS3's Japanese launch date, followed by September 21st in the US. What about poor old Europe?
