Remember back when Sony first introduced the PS3 in multiple colors? There was black of course, and silver, but my personal favorite was the shiny white model. Instead of waiting until Sony releases it as a Japanese-only exclusive somewhere down the road (speculation, but you know they'll do it), PS3 Center has gone ahead and made their own.
Michael Birecki from PS3 Center did this in his father's body shop, after realizing that the PS3 he was planning to auction wouldn't sell worth a damn just by itself. He has pictures of the whole process posted on their site, as well as a link to the eBay auction, which is up past $1,000 as of this writing.
I know I said I wouldn't post any more PlayStation 3 auctions but this one is special, and it's Christmas, so breaking promises is okay!
