Netherlands Gamer Wins Coveted Halo 2 Championships

Congratulations are in order for King Tuur, the Microsoft-crowned world champion of Halo 2. One of 50,000 contestants, Tuur won $1,500 U.S. cash, a 50 inch Samsung flatscreen HDTV, a DVD recorder/player, a trophy, and the priviledge of being stoned to death by 49,999 pissed off gamers.

"It's an honor of the highest regard," started Tuur, before being clobbered upside the head with a brick. Quick with a joystick, not so quick at ducking.
