Modders, please stop. If your console is larger than your torso and an ergonomic monstrosity, it's not portable. Look at this Xbox Portable, for example. It's some nice work... seriously. But look where the control pad and buttons are compared to the rest of the device. If held upright while playing, at any given time you would be holding twenty pounds worth of electronics in mid-air by the mere corners of your expensive, one-of-a-kind homebrew mod.
We've said it before: "Everything's portable if it doesn't matter how big it is." Love the Hulk green, though.

With the heat that thing makes, that DEFINITELY can't be good for the mini-me in your pants.
Call me old fashioned, but I like my Hulk green to stay on the Hulk.
"Portable"... BAH! Game Boy Micro... now THAT'S portable. And with my Supercard Mini SD, I can carry my entire NES and SNES libraries in my pocket, too!
I'm conflicted! The flannel says lumberjack, but those manicured manhands say metrosexual.
xbox portablizers should just go with my idea -- built it into a backpack and only redesign the control pad so it has some kind of display.. that way it's a little rough on the back(the body will get used to it), and very easy on the hands :D
kind of reminds me of the original xbox controller + the dreamcast controller..
Sick! Maybe you can wifi it.
That thing is probably cracking that guys femurs.
Microsoft needs to release an Xbox one so these things can stop being so ridiculous.
For the record, slapping a 6" LCD on the side of a Xbox, cutting a controller in half and wiring it together with duct tape, and wrapping the whole thing in green rubber does NOT make a game system portable.
have you even read through his buildlog or at least looked at the pictures? Dave put alot of time and effort into building this, without the batteries its less than half the thickness of a regular xbox and about 20% smaller on the other dimensions. i would LOVE to see you do better.I linked to his site in comments not too long ago. i dont care if you dont like the portables that we make but at least respect the fact that we put alot of time and effort into this and that its mostly just to prove we can and for fun, not to replace your ds/psp/gba or whatever. plus emulation doesnt hold a candle to playin the real thing on the go! check out my site for some of my portable works in progress and stuff or benheck forum for alot more
Dude...the power button's crooked.
I like how they managed to make the controller a bit smaller at the same time.
