Rumor: Best Buy's PS3 and Wii Mazes

ps3maze.jpg

Remember back when the Xbox 360 launches, way back in old 2005? Well when Best Buy prepped their store for launch of the console, they decided to rearrange check-out to make it a virtual sales gauntlet that costumers would have to endure to get out of the store with console in hand. This time around, it looks like Best Buy isn't making things quite as daunting, according to the official documents leaked to Kotaku.

The PS3 maze, and two days later the Wii maze, is more of a racetrack than a gauntlet.

Here's the breakdown:

1. Customer enters store
2. Customer reaches front of line queue
3-5. Customer seeks end to end solution
Software table - All PS3 software titles
Accessories table - All PS3 accessories
Services table - Geek Squad, PRP, GamePro, GameFly
6. Customer trades ticket for hardware unit
7. Customer pays for everything
8. Customer exits

I think that forgot number 9: Customer gets his MoFo game on! Hit the jump for the Wii maze and route.
