Ill Lawmakers Pass Video Game Sales Ban

I may be one Moscow Mule and two Corona's into my Saturday, but I'm not too drunk to report that the fucktards in Illinois have voted into law the bill that will make selling or renting violent video games illegal. (Granted, had I been more sober I would have come up with something a little more subtle than fucktard.)

Illinois lawmakers voted today 106-6 to make the idiotic bill a law. Even some of the twits who passed the bill into law said it was probably unconstitutionally vague. Hello, isn't that one of the things you're supposed to be considering when you vote on bills?

The law won't be official until Gov. Rod "I've got a malnourished acorn for a head" Blagojevich signs off on it. But he was the one who first proposed it, so I'm pretty sure we know where that is headed.

The freshly minted law will leave it up to stores to determine which games are too violent or sexually explicit for minors, which essentially kneecaps the law, but it still pisses me off that it passed.
