U2 Play Second Life, 10 People Show Up

It's not exactly selling-out Madison Square Garden. A group of role-players created U2 avatars, which they use for virtual concerts in MMO Second Life. Unconnected with the real band, the fake concert promoted charitable organizations One.org, Data.org, AfricanWellFund.org and MakePovertyHistory.org—hence U2 and its legal team's willingness to turn a blind eye, even though the audio seems streamed off a live CD or DVD. It looks and sounds kinda like U2, but something, though, seems off.

  • During the concert, Bono takes off his sunglasses. Looks like a hobo.
  • Bono wears a Wonder Woman-type outfit during Sunday Bloody Sunday.
  • Women inexplicably waving cell phones during Where the Streets Have No Name.
  • Bono dry humps some old lady with white hair.

Take that back, it's business as usual.
