Hey, isn't the prince wearing a name tag? What's up with those sandals and black socks? And is that a paint brush and a hanger I see on the katamari?

elder scrolls IV: oblivion
Bethesda Studios snatched up Patrick Stewart and Sean Bean along with Terrance Stamp and Wonder Woman herself, Lynda Carter to provide voices in the upcoming
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Stewart will voice the Emperor, and Bean his long lost son. What all of this means, we don't know as the details on the plot of
Oblivion are sparse, but maybe some Shakespearean cross-family politicking will be at play. Who knows?
Announcement
All week long we eat gingerly from their hands
our sponsors. All of this taking, we really want to give back. What'll it be this weekend? Lavish dinners? Shopping sprees? You tell us what you want.

Animal Crossing: Wild World
Infendo has some details from Nintendo about the WiFi functionality in the upcoming
Animal Crossing: Wild World title for the Nintendo DS. Up to four players will be able to meet in a single town and do the day-to-day
Animal Crossing chores, fishing, cutting down trees, picking weeds in addition to text messaging each other while in-town. Like the GameCube versions, players' resident animals may move to other players' towns. The WiFi mode and town-visiting is available to anyone in WiFi range. I forsee much griefing in
Animal Crossing. Faithful readers, head into an unsuspecting town and cut down all of the trees. Report to us with the results and some screenshots. November can't get here fast enough!

Killer 7
Gouichi Suda, the force behind
Killer 7, is creating light entertainment for the Nintendo DS. Titled
Contact, the yet released game follows a boy named Cherry that searches his planet for an alien professor's scattered power components. The kid also collects costumes, such as for a chef, pilot, fisherman or firefighter. Depending on what Cherry wears, his abilities change. I know exactly what that's like. If I'm not encased in a wetsuit, there's no way I'm up for
SOCOM: Navy Seals.

Carmack
Doom designer John Carmack's spaceship will be shown at the
X Prize Cup on Oct. 6. The nine companies showing their shuttles, including Carmack's
Armadillo Aerospace, won't be heading into orbit just yet
the event's altitude is restricted to "low." Carmack told
Wired that his spacecraft could be in space as early as next year. The October event will mark the first time the 10-foot-tall spaceship has been seen by the public. Carmack could see a return on his $2.5 million investment in the project if the military contracts the design for use. Space shuttles are cool and all, but when will Carmack and the military strike a deal to make a real-life version of the BFG9000?

Xbox 360
Thank you China for slave-labor wages. Workers in Southern China are making dollars a day to assemble 360's right as we speak. However, they won't be able to take out loans to buy the machines until 2006. As previously reported, America will get the console first, then Japan and finally China.
