BioWare is working on two unannounced games for the Xbox 360, IGN is reporting. A spokesperson told the site that they have four development teams working on games right now and that a couple of them are for Microsoft's next-gen console.

Famitsu publisher president is saying that Playstation 3 games will likely be priced $70 to $80 when they hit and don't forget that buying the PS3 is going to require a second job. I'm not really a huge fan of this whole, our system is sooooo cool that it's going to cost you an arm and a leg trend. Since when is paying too much for something the mark of being on the cutting edge?

More screens and details about Civilization IV arrived today. This round senior producer Barry Caudill talks about the game's promotion system, a much more intricate affair than most games. In Civ IV players can choose from 20 different bonuses for individual characters as they climb the ranking system from green to veteran to elite. New Line Home Entertainment just announced that they are jumping on the UMD bandwagon. So far the company only announced plans to release six titles this year. Elf, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003), The Butterfly Effect, Freddy Vs. Jason, Blade and Secondhand Lions will all go on sale on Oct. 4 for $19.99 each.

Lik-Sang is selling a TV tuner that works with the Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance SP. Unfortunately, the thing is about the same size as the DS, so once docked it will be like carrying around a real TV. The $89 add-on is expected to ship in October.

Urban Dead is a strange text massively multiplayer game where you can play a member of the military, scientific community, a civilian or a zombie. The point is to survive, thrive and become more powerful. The game is quite a bit of fun in a very understated non-graphic sort of way.

Make has a nice post up about playing text adventures on the Palm PDA watch. What I was most surprised about was that the once $200-plus watch can be had for less than $70. Of course the watch basically looks like you have a PDA strapped to your wrist. I must purchase it!

A reader writes to say that the Uber Nintendo arcade machine I posted about yesterday is in fact a six-player arcade version of Mario Party. The machine features both video minigames and physical minigames. Players compete for capsule toys.
