Reader Atez just shot me what may be a screen cap from Grand Theft Auto 4. He found it over on Jeux France, which often has leaked images, but said the site has since removed it without explanation

so take it with a grain of salt.

Robin Walker, a designer for Half-Life 2: Aftermath, spilled the beans about the expansion in a recent interview with Gamespot. Walker disclosed that many H-L2 characters will return in one form or another and that the expansion would spend more time developing characters than in Half-Life 2.

You know you have a good game on your hands when you can't convince the public that a screen shot isn't actually just a photograph. Last week, Bizarre Creations posted a screenshot of Project Gotham Racing 3 of a street scene. The image was so realistic that many dismissed it as a fake. Today, the company released the wire frame of the same image, and another photo realistic in-game screen shot and wire frame.

Here's an interesting tid-bit: Toshiba was showing off their Fall line-up the other day and demoed a HD-DVD that was being created in conjunction with Microsoft. This, of course, was well before the official
Xbox software announcement, but now attendees are starting to wonder if references to the device's ability to download games and play them may be tied into the Xbox software deal.

It doesn't have white knobs or a clunky, red plastic frame and you don't need to shake it to erase the picture, but Etch-A-Sketch is coming to the cell phone. The cellular version will use the number pads to drawn line art and can store up to three of your crappy creation in the phone's memory. Man, all I could ever do with my Etch-A-Sketch was draw big rectangles and produce monster lumps on my friends' heads.

Cross-platform
MTV.Com's Stephen Totilo recently spent some time with Mark Ecko checking out the pop culture icon's graffiti game Getting Up. Ecko hopes the game will become the first in a three part series of games that tell the story of anti-establishment street artists taking on the Man.
Totilo's write-up is a little light on game play details, but he does say that Getting Up is a nice blend of a wide variety of classic gaming actions. It sounds a bit like Grand Theft Auto, only with cans of paint spray instead of guns.

last time we told you about Nintendo Revolution ads all we had to offer was a projected release date (thanks, minimalist ad!). Apparently the folks at RevoGaming have come across a few more pieces of the puzzle. One shot shows an added Metroid graphic and another with a projected release date of August 2005.

Xbox 2
The Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 have been thumping their chip-laden chests since they both were officially announced earlier this year. The epic pissing match culminated with both Sony and Microsoft claiming that their respective consoles would be 20 to 30 times faster than previous iterations.
