    Rampant Japan-US Pokemon Trading

Owners of Pokémon Diamond & Pearl who live in Japan aren't able to use English letters for their monsters, while those who live in American can't enter character names using Japanese characters. And since the grass is always greener, folks in The Land of the Rising Sun want English christened Pokémon while Americans look longingly at Japanese named ones. Hence, the Wi-Fi connected "Global Trading Station" (GTS). So, far over ten million Pokémon have been exchanged via the GTS between the US and Japan. That's A LOT. The Japanese version of Diamond & Pearl went on sale last fall, but the American one didn't hit till last April. When the game finally hits PAL regions this summer, we can expect only one thing and one thing only: world peace.
