      I was aware of in game advertising before, (don't know whether you heard PES or Winning Eleven series. They used to contain adverts for news papers, sports mags, lads mags. What freaked me out about RV6 2 was that they are putting in fresh adverts after they released a game through patches. I know for sure that Indiana Jones ads were not present when I purchased the game, when I first started playing it I had to download new patch for it and I bet that it included the advert. So this isn't about offsetting production cost through ads, since the game must be pretty popular with gamers for another company to use it as a billboard.
